Opportunity for students looking to work in a fast-paced D2C startup environment and gain hands-on experience.

Many candidates think interviewers are only evaluating technical knowledge…

but they’re also paying attention to how teachable and collaborative you seem.

One mistake people make is becoming overly defensive when corrected or challenged during an interview. If an interviewer points out a flaw, asks “Are you sure?”, or suggests another approach, candidates often panic or try too hard to prove themselves right.

A much better approach is staying open and thoughtful. If you realize you missed something, acknowledge it calmly and build on it:

“That makes sense — I didn’t consider that edge case initially.”

or

“Yeah, I can see how that approach would be more efficient.”

This doesn’t make you look weak. In fact, it often makes you look more mature and easier to work with.

Companies know skills can improve over time. What they worry about more is whether someone can take feedback, adapt, and communicate professionally under pressure.

A candidate who is calm, receptive, and collaborative often leaves a better impression than someone who tries to defend every answer perfectly.

All the best for today’s applications — apply smart, not everywhere.

Best,

TechUprise
