Don’t try to fill every second with talking.

A lot of candidates get nervous in interviews and keep speaking continuously, thinking more words = better answer.

But over-explaining usually creates:

 Confusing answers

 Repeated points

 Loss of structure

Instead, focus on saying the important part clearly and then stop.

After answering, let the interviewer react or ask the next question. Small pauses are completely normal and actually make you look calmer and more confident.

Example:

Instead of speaking for 3–4 minutes about every detail of a project, explain:

 What the project was

 Your role

 Main challenge/result

Then pause.

If they want more detail, they’ll ask.

Why this works:

 Your answers feel sharper

 Interviewers can follow you easily

 You avoid rambling under pressure

Most candidates think confidence means talking more.

Strong candidates know confidence also means being comfortable with silence.

Rule: Don’t try to say everything — say the right things clearly.
