Stop asking “What should I add?” — start asking “What will they question?”

Most candidates keep adding things to look stronger:

more skills, more projects, more lines.

But recruiters don’t just look for what’s there — they look for doubt.

When someone reads your profile, they’re silently asking:

Is this real or just claimed?

Can this person actually explain this?

Did they actually do this work?

So instead of adding more, remove doubt.

For every line you write, ask:

“If they question this, can I confidently explain or show it?”

Example:

If you write:

“Built a scalable backend system”

Be ready to answer:

 What made it scalable?

 What decisions did you take?

 What challenges did you solve?

If you can’t answer that clearly, simplify or fix it.

Why this works:

A profile without doubt feels trustworthy.

A profile full of claims but weak explanations feels risky.

Most candidates focus on looking impressive.

Strong candidates focus on being believable.

Rule: Don’t just add more — remove reasons to doubt you.
